I don't have such list, but if you'll need some confirmation just drop me a message.

Added to the "native" glide list:
  • Speedboat Attack - Criterion St. / Telstar, 1997.
Software and glide. Uses glide1x (original version) or glide2x (Voodoo2 version and the AMD patch (?)).
    640x480 only.
Voodoo2 SLI - glide2x version freezes in demo.
nGlide 2.10 - glide1x version crashes after the 3dfx logo (module rwdlvd21.dll offset 2dee). Glide2x version crashes in demo (nt.dll offset 121ba), wrong cockpit, missed effects, black screen with the cursor after a race.
WinME + Voodoo2 SLI - the glide2x version works ok.
The installer not detects Voodoo2 and later cards. And not installs the glide version in NT OSs. So - use fixed InstallShield scrips (setup.ins) to install.

The original (1.0) version (glide1x):
1) Install SpeedboatAttack.sdb ("sdbinst <file_name>").
2) Copy the disk1 folder to a HDD.
3) Replace english\setup.ins to the fixed version.
4) Run setup.exe. The "3DFX card detected" choice will be always active.
5) (64-bit OSs) Use standard "copy then run the IS3 setup32.exe" method.
6) Edit the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Criterion Studios\Speedboat Attack\1.0\VideoDisk registry key.
This version needs glide.dll, sst1init.dll and fxmemmap.vxd in the %system% folder (names only so zero-byte files are ok).

The Voodoo2 (1.5) version (spboatv2.zip) (glide2x):
1) See above.
2) Extract the spbasetup.exe content to a HDD folder.
3) - 5) see above.
6) Not needed.
Can't add the archive for steps 2 and 3 (the file is too big).
Warning: the installer adds glide.dll, glide2x.dll, sst1init.dll and fxmemmap.sys to the %system% folder. So - restore your original glide2x.dll after the installation!

The intro crashes in WinXpSp3 so run the game as sboat.exe.

P.S. English\Setup.ins manual editing - replace 05 to 06 in offset 1003 (the original version) and 1109 (the Voodoo2 version).

Nglide 2.10 + 3dfxvgl 1.0.0.439:
1) Very slow if a screen has a light source (dynamic). Quake II, Sin etc.
2) Textures are broken after a time.

NGlide 2.00 is ok.

Perhaps it's the mipmapping introduced with 2.10. Is it also that slow with default MiniGL?

Thanks.

No. 3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.439 + nGlide 2.10 only.
I will try to make a video with this bug later.

Have tested 3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.439 with Quake III: Arena.
Ghosting as the result (main menu etc). With nGlide 2.10, 2.00 and 1.05. WtF?
3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.507 and 1.0.0.508 (both W2k and W9x) not have this bug.
So the idea (1 version of 3dfxvgl.dll for all "3dfxvgl" games) not works currentry.

"High Heat Baseball. (? ? ? * *)"

Do any of the High Heat baseball's support glide? I see 3DFX listed on the 2001 box.

The current stage is filtering. The check is the next stage. :) And there is the Mobygames list to check first...
If there will be no grGlideInit in a game code then I will move a game name to this list.

P.S. IMHO all 3DO Baseballs are software or software/d3d.

P.S.S. Have tested 2003 and 2004 versions. Both are d3d8 only.

I bought copies of all of them except 2001. The only one that supports Glide is 1999 and works without any compatibility settings. I can't get 2000 to run in Windows 7 but I tested it in PCem and it only shows Direct 3D.
