No lightning effects in POD
Hi there, I patched up my Pod Gold installation (not the one from Gog, the real one from 1999) and got it running nicely with all effects with dgVoodoo. Just because I'm curious I tried the newest nGlide version with it and noticed that there are no lightning effects at all (dark areas or blue repai...

Re: Croc makes no footsteps on snow / sand
Thx for the tip, I didn't get a successful combination of compatibility tools to fix that though before.
Sorry, I accidentaly deleted the images by myself. I will move on to my own web server in the next time so they would've been gone sooner or later. Edited my posts.

Turning nGlide on and off
Hi there, I just searched for an option to enable / disable nGlide globally. Why would you do that? I had to run the game windowed (which would be another suggestion) so I wanted to use another wrapper for the game. Simply copying it into the game directory didn't work because nGlide was always jump...

Re: Croc makes no footsteps on snow / sand
Yeah, 4:4 "Ballistic Meg's Fairway" uses those running guys all the time. Very nice to hear that it's fixed! Do you also have information why Croc doesn't quit when selecting "Exit Game" --> "Yes" sometimes (it's causing nothing to press Enter there for me)? It's probab...

Why should it? I'm using an ATI HD4850.

Re: Why do you use Glide over Direct3D/OpenGL?
I have never experienced any slow down when using fullscreen stretching. That's funny, even the highend 3D games where running smoothly as without stretching.

Re: Croc makes no footsteps on snow / sand
On another note, there seems to be a bug with transparency or so.
One enemy at croc leaves a fire line behind it and it becomes more and more transparent until it disappears.
With nGlide some weird white/green textures appear for a short second before the fire textures are removed.

Croc makes no footsteps on snow / sand
Hi there,
I found a very small issue when playing Croc 1.
Croc is not making any visible footsteps in the snow or on sand.
Are others experiencing the same? With zeckensacks glide wrapper they're visible.
