TrickStyle on Steam using nGlide

Postby IceMan » Fri Feb 24, 2017 1:19 pm

I believe Zeus has an arrangement with GOG, but TrickStyle is now also on Steam and seems to use nGlide to display the game, see http://steamcommunity.com/app/588490/di ... 377330247/

Personally, I run the original game, and use the Direct3D verison at 1600x1200, it's good enough for me, I think there was a reason why I preferred D3D to Glide, but can't remember what right now!

I'm not surprised, there have been many other releases like this already. It looks like to me GOG has a time exclusivity on some titles and after it ends some companies decide to put their games on another stores.

Unfortunately companies forget sometimes to ask for additional permissions, maybe they aren't aware GOG releases use 3rd party tools in many cases?

I asked them in that thread above, but no response. They mention it by name.
