Hexen II: Portal of Praevus 1.12.
Glitches with weapons. For all classes.
Original game don't have this artifacts. (1.03 and 1.11)
nGlide 0.95
P4 3GHz, Ati X850 PE AGP, Catalyst 10.2 (with OGL from 7.11), WinXpSp3.
Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 GB DDR400 (3-3-3-8),
Radeon HD3850 AGP (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
2 Voodoo2 12 MB (SLI), Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).

So we have third game (besides Driver and Braveheart) that has problem with ATI X850 GPU and not with others (as for now).

The problem is that all coordinates of the vertices are correct, so I have no idea where these bugs came from.

I don't have the possibility to test these games with ATI X-series, so could you test it with Catalyst 9.11, 9.8, 9.3.1 and with Omega drivers?

Have you ever noticed Hexen 2: Portal of Praevus glitch-like in other DX9 app?

WtF? I reinstalled the game and - the glitch is GONE? WHAAAAAT?
Ok... The case is sheduled/closed... :)

Problem caused by model caching 1.11 model caching is different from 1.12 for example when you first run hexen2 maps *.ms2 files will be created, when you run addon files not be created, they loaded because exist, and use bad coordinates.
Solution find and delete all *.ms2 files. Use addon, if you need back to original hexen2, delete chem again.

I'm having the same problem as our friend Gamecollector
SP1 Windows 7x64
Intel Core 2 Duo E7400
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 1GB PCI Express 16x (1600 x 900 max resoluction)
Hexen II: Portal of Praevus 1.12.

nGlide 0.98

Note: Not only guns, but with some characters are disfigured body.

What to do? please help! not want to be forced to use a modified version, and I prefer the original version ... :cry:

The game which is unique at the time I really did not find any files with extensions *. ms2, I sent a private message to him (WhiteMagicRaven), but I await his response.

Files with extension *. ms2 is in C: \ Hexen II \ Portals \ maps?

I did not find, I also made a general search of this extension, nor anywhere to be found ...

If you can give me step-by-step or briefly for me to understand and execute thank ...

Are to be congratulated for the excellent work, I can finally relive old times with the plaque that was the time (Voodoo Glide) in which the time could not afford to pay ...

Delete the "hexen II\data1\glhexen" directory before the first run of the add-on.
