Don't waste your time trying to fix ProRally.exe, Nico. It's already fixed (see my previous post).NicoDE wrote:
If you wanna help you can try to fix random CTDs before races in Motorhead or make a better patch (than mine) for M1TP2.

OK, I'll have a look at it.Zeus wrote:If you wanna help you can try to fix random CTDs before races in Motorhead or make a better patch (than mine) for M1TP2.
Re: Pro Rally 2001
Zeus, are you releasing a fixed exe for Pro Rally 2001 or is it the next version of nGlide we'll need?Zeus wrote:Don't waste your time trying to fix ProRally.exe, Nico. It's already fixed (see my previous post).NicoDE wrote:

Both, so I'll release them at the same time. You'll need new exe to fix freeze at loading screen and new wrapper version to fix "Mode Selection Error" bug.

Sounds excellent; it might just finally allow me to play Pro Rally 2001 on my XP machine, just before I upgrade to a new Win8 box where the game works alreadyZeus wrote:Both, so I'll release them at the same time. Re: Pro Rally 2001
Will the loading screen fix work on the Direct3D version as well as the Glide version?

Re: Pro Rally 2001
And do you have a rough time frame for the release of the next version? Is there a certain milestone you need to reach before releasing it?

nGlide 1.01 released.
Instruction how to play on Windows XP / 7 / 8:
1) Install the game through P4 installer
2) Install update 1.1
3) Replace 'prorally.exe' (all files available here)
4) Open 'rallysetup.exe' and set 'Voodoo'.

Probably yes, but I can't test it. D3D renderer doesn't work for me.IceMan wrote:Will the loading screen fix work on the Direct3D version as well as the Glide version?
