nGlide OFF without Uninstallation

Postby bellzemos » Fri Oct 05, 2012 8:13 pm

Hello!

I love nGlide but when I play Return To Castle Wolfenstein I have to uninstall it every time because it makes RTCW unplayable (graphics streches allover). Is there a way to just "turn nGlide off" - to disable it, instead of uninstalling and then installing it again next ime?

(My SYS = Win7 x64)

Thank you!

For RTCW rename 'gl' folder to 'gl_'.

Run "Video Test" and select d3d or ddraw.
Seriously, the only game w/o easy way to disable glide is CyberGladiators.

Radeon HD3850 Agp (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).

Two more games without an easy way to select software/d3d/glide: Jane's AH-64D Longbow 2 (without ddu update) and King's Quest: Mask of Eternity. Still - IMHO, there is no need to create the way to on/off nGlide...
