FBO is an OpenGL mechanism that can be used in OpenGL wrappers in order to implement TEXTUREBUFFER Glide extension. nGlide doesn't wrap to OpenGL (don't tell me you didn't know that ;)), so of course doesn't use FBO. Instead, it uses similar mechanisms and techniques that are available in Direct3D.

FBO = Render Targets

the plugin internally calls them FBE's.

Ah, so you thought Glide had yet another extension for r2t (render to texture). No, there is only one Voodoo extension for this - TEXTUREBUFFER.

Yes, I could implement just one more extension: COMBINE, however I have mixed feelings about this since Glide64 is now dead.

I already knew Gonetz stopped working on it ;)

Does it is much work to implement it?
Because Glide64 will still be the best plugin for Project64 or other emu's and that will not change soon i'm afraid :( .

I know there is another emu coming: http://www.emutalk.net/threads/52511-On ... f-accuracy

Only Glide64 can play my favorite game "Conker bad fur day" perfectly :D

But if you think its not worth it anymore ill understand ;)

Amazing job Zeus, i'm enjoying this 1.03 version.

But, is the combine function perfectly emulated? Because i dont see noise in some Majora's Mask effects. Like this.

nGlide 1.03

And it should look like this.

It appear in the very beggining of the game, in the first "cave" (its just a cinematic).
