Sounds useless? Well, not quite.
While having support for scaling shaders indeed doesn't sound incredibly useful for most true 3d games, it would be really, really great for Diablo II and other games that use glide in the same way. Rendering those games simply at higher resolutions doesn't help image quality a bit. Upscalig the rendered output with a scaling filter on the other hand would improve those games a lot.
Maybe this could be more or less taken from Dosbox builds that offer scaling with D3D pixelshaders (Gulikoza, Ykhwong).
New ideas and suggestions.

This would be cool. But as far as I know, Zeus #1 priority at the moment is performance and compatibility. As far as features go, I hope to see Windowed-Mode support before anything else

Did you try a d3d windower like this one: http://keeper.lubie.org/tools/d3d_windo ... _win32.zip ?
Should work with virtually any nGlide game, I just tried it successfully with POD + nGlide.
