Questions - cmd line nGlide and spec difference

Postby zorrobandito » Sat Aug 13, 2011 12:34 pm

Great software, thanks.

Couple of questions:

I want to launch Need for Speed 2 SE in 3DFX mode on my arcade cabinet. Can I launch nGlide without invoking the config panel? I just want to run with a default set of options. There's only nglide_config.exe so perhaps there is a command line switch?

I've finally got Screamer Rally working in 3DFX DOSBox on the arcade cabinet. I'm getting about 15 FPS though. Where NFS2SE delivers at least 30. Is it just the DOSBox overhead or is there an overhead interfacing with nGlide?

There is no need to invoke the control panel at all to start a game. Simply run the game. As long as nGlide is installed properly (or nGlides glide2x.dll is present in the games directory) everything should work fine.

If you want to run Glide games from the command line with specific settings look here: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=275 .

But if I understand you correctly, that should not be neccessary in your case.
