Glide3x support for Glide64

Hi,

I have to congratulate you for the current release of nglide with Glide3x. I am one of the official wrapper developers for Glide64 and I have to applaud you for making a D3D9 based alternative to our wrapper :)

There's just some questions I have to ask since I haven't tried it out yet with Glide64.
1) Is grTextureBufferExt implemented? If so, does it support the depth writes used by Resident Evil 2 and hardware framebuffer emulation?
2) I take it the colour combiner extension emulation is complete? :)
3) I take it also the 3DF texture loading is implemented too? :)
4) Do you implement our wrapper specific extensions or do you just emulate the Voodoo 5 as is?

Other than that, I love your work. I can't wait to see what you pull off next. :)

Thanks man. :D

1) Is grTextureBufferExt implemented? If so, does it support the depth writes used by Resident Evil 2 and hardware framebuffer emulation?

No, because this function don't come from original 3Dfx drivers.

2) I take it the colour combiner extension emulation is complete?

No, same reason. 3Dfx didn't have grColorCombineExt function. It has grColorCombine only.

3) I take it also the 3DF texture loading is implemented too?

Yes.

4) Do you implement our wrapper specific extensions or do you just emulate the Voodoo 5 as is?

The goal is to 'emulate' all Glide2x and Glide3x titles (but in the way like original driver did). I do not implement unofficial extensions, not made by 3Dfx (although never say never again).

Hmm, thats a shame because the texture buffer, chroma key, UMA, and advanced colour combiner extensions are needed for complete Glide64 compatibility. :(

Other than that, the combiner/blender emulation looks great otherwise. Worked fine on the titiles I found, apart from the missing extensions.

We'll see. As i said before never say never again. :)

EDIT:
No, because this function don't come from original 3Dfx drivers.

I was wrong. The extensions you mentioned are original.

I fully agree that it would be great to have glide64 support :D .

It is the best plugin for N64 and it is used by a load of people.

You would get also a big support for testing as well ;)

Anyway thanks for this nice wrapper and i hope you will continue on this way!!
