Possible ideas

Postby Gazeus » Wed Mar 02, 2011 1:59 am

I really like the simplicity of configuring nGlide, but I feel that perhaps for some games it might not be configurable enough.

Here is what me and my flight sim crowd are used to with the dgVoodoo glide wrapper:

yep but the dgvoodoo level of customization might be a little too confusing imho.

Yeah but the problem is, it's no longer updated or supported. If it ever was supported, technically!

Therefore, whenever new graphics card come out, whenever new drivers are released, whenever DirectX gets updated - there are more and more instabilities and graphical corruptions when using what are now 'old' versions of dgVoodoo.

nGlide is nice because it is 'now' and always being updated, so with just perhaps a few more options I think it is the next generation of glide wrapping! :)

WhiteMagicRaven - hey I just did a Google search for your query, check this out...

http://www.opengl.org/registry/specs/EX ... meters.txt

The 'Overview' section of that file should give you an idea of what that particular extension does.
