Have tested.
Yes, the included patch not plays CDA tracks for me.
WinXpSp3, UK version.

Have attached unprotected .exes for the UK version (original and patched), CDA is ok with them.

The size of your files is less than a size of original icd-files. You use unSafedisc v1.5.5? It seems that it cuts off some sections.
I recommend The Safedisc Annihilator 1.1.

Worked fine for me even on XP, but now it doesn't matter as I updated the patch with executables you provided.

Zeus, Patch on the site only for the British blood version.
Patch for the American and European (Spanish/German/Italian/French) versions here.

Is this only for 1.2? Can you create incremental version of it so it will work with every US/EU versions of the game?

The American version 1.2 together with new data.twt differs in nothing from the British version 2.0 except localization.

It is impossible. Files data.twt and data\intrface\interface.txt from the British patch 2.0 contain the British localization.
For this reason developers let out some options of patches:
British blood 2.0
British zombie 2.0
European 2.0
American 1.2

Besides, the American version differs from British in that at the lowest level of complexity more time in missions is given.

By US/EU I meant US+continental Europe. I know British version can't be merged.

There's also an unofficial patch now based on GOG's release: http://rr2000.toshiba-3.com/R4/PC/GOGPatchV3.zip
The included winmm.dll might not work in WinXP though. Would have to use an older version.
/edit: I realize I have already suggested it earlier in this thread. You guys seem to overlook the fact winmm.dll makes CDA work.

Doing a distinction nowadays between US and UK blood versions just because of localisation (a few words here an there if I understand correctly) is borderline autism and makes the process seem more convoluted for the end-user to get playing than what is necessary...
