Sports Car Gt resolution problem

Loved this game. Still like to play it sometimes. Now, with vga with more than 2gb cant play in d3d mode. There is really no ( big ) difference in visuals between your wrapper and d3d mode. Only thing is that resolution in game cant be changed and remains at 800x600, no matter what i do in nglide cp. Is there any way to fix this. Thanks in advance

You can't change the in-game resolutions list. It's hardcoded for each game by game developers. Sports Car GT 3dfx - 512x384, 640x480 and 800x600 only.
NGlide can enlarge/shrink this image to any custom resolution. But this will not add visual details/quality.

Well, that's actually not true. Flat 2D elements won't look any better for an obvious reason, but when it comes to 3D, the quality will be improved and will be as good as if the game supported target resolution from the very beginning.

The quality would remain the same only with stretching applied, but that's not what nGlide does during resizing.

So - nGlide gets all vertices, translates them to new coords and only then draws. And all 3d lines still have 1-pixel width... Plus all textures have better color borders (still bilinear/trilinear but with more pixels). Yes, I was wrong.

Lines and points are also rescaled. Otherwise they would be too thick/thin.
