X-Com Alliance

Hi Zeus,

The menus load fine, but once starting a mission, the game crashes with:

General Protection Fault
History: ClientTick <- UGameEngine:: Tick <- MainLoop.

Running on 64 Bit Windows 8 Intel Core i7 Intel HD 4000 graphics.

Seems these early Unreal engine games are tricky.

No, I think this person is trying to run the leaked alpha build of Alliance before it got canceled for stupid reasons and turned into the abomination that is "Enforcer".

I don't think this is a nGlide issue, have you tried making sure the process is set to a single affinity core and maybe lie about your memory? (I never had to use a memory lie even with the Unreal 98 beta demos)

Thanks for looking into this. The processor didn't change much. However deleting the game's default glide2x.dll file did enable it to run with nglide, though 20% of the texture were wrong and the colours were somewhat washed out.

Zeus, 3dshooterlegends should still have it. Can you look into it? Just needs the final tweak.

Bad news. All those glitches are caused by the renderer/game itself. Nothing to fix for me.
