Too bad it's no use to glide wrappers... :(
Oh well, I guess we can't have everything.

Hmm...? Oh, is it statically compiled I guess?

No. But it uses .dxe format. IIRC this is the dll adaptation for DOS.
Of course the standard .ovl driver is ignored and all wrappers can't intercept anything.

So perhaps gulikoza or someone needs to make dxe interceptor/wrapper?
Or Q2DOS needs to figure out how to compile with OpenWatcom (if possible)?

Founded #-G bugs were re-tested on my notebooks (WinXpSp3):

Upgraded Acer Travelmate 2440 (Core Duo T2450/Radeon Xpress 200M/2 GB DDR2-667C RAM/Realtek HDA (ALC883)):

Actua Soccer 2, Apache Longbow, Arabian Nights, Autobahn Racing, Counter Strike, Driver, F-16: Fighting Falcon, F-16: Multirole Fighter, F/A-18: Korea, F22: Total Air War, FIFA 2001, Gunman Chronicles - same as with my main retro PC.

Actua Golf 2 - no yellow lines.

Barrage - can't test, the notebook is 1280x800 only.

Counter Strike crashes after 1-2 seconds in a game (cstrike.exe module unknown modver 0.0.0.0 offset 00000000) if you use 3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.439. Nglide 1.03 + 3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.439 - same crash. Still the nglide 1.04 textures glitch can be seen.

F-16: Multirole Fighter constantly crashes on this notebook. Looks like it's related to a game resolution. There is no ctd with 640x480 and a continuous crash with 1024x768...
There is no crash if you use "Menu Fullscreen=No"...
There is no crash with the nGlide 1.03 (and no z-buffered 1024x768 by the way)...

Gunman Chronicles - same as Counter Strike... Worse, 3dfxvgl.dll 1.0.0.507 crashes too.

And looks like some games from the pack are completely silent with HDA. Well, I will see more precisely when I test the pack versus Vista.

Have updated my "freeze once per reboot" fix. Now the .sdb isn't needed, files checked by the system ACT database are added.
The new fix is attached to the same post.

Have divided my ACT database to two. Now ProfileSetup ACT fixes (to use All Users menu, not the current user one) are in a different database.
Unfortunately some installers can't be fixed by the ACT.
And some installers have the hard-coded name for the menu (Programs), not too friendly to localized WinXp versions (like mine).
Have tested this new database up to the letter "O". After I finish the letter "Q" - I will resume the main nGlide 1.04 testing...
P.S. Have added some fixes in the main database too, CorrectFilePatchs mostly...

There is 1 strange trouble - all "Unreal type" installers not remove the program group and the shortcut in WinXpSp3... Adventure Pinball: Forgotten Island, Deus Ex, Nerf Arena Blast etc... All patches are correct in the manifest.ini. WtF?

You can use Process Monitor, an excellent program that will allow you to see what executable tries to do with files/directories or registry entries.

*Censored*.
Looks like another "there are localized Windows versions?" case.

Strange, but others CreateFile accesses are ok:

I have attached the full log file.
P.S. Have renamed shell folders to english names ("Main Menu"\"Programs" and "Desktop", with HKLM(HKCU)\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders\User Shell Folders keys). Of course these *censored* installers have started to work correctly...
