Carmageddon bugs with nglide 1.02

I noticed some minor bugs with carmageddon 1

first one: in the map mode, you cannot see the car and the road in the little monitor at the top-left (black rectangle) (tested in the 600ft under level)
second one: you cannot see that sort of wireframe cube that highlights the selected car after a race in the damage menu.

these bugs happen with all 3 available exes (3dfx.exe, carmav.exe and voodo2c.exe).

The second one is the "feature" of the glide version.
The first one is working for me... I have used voodoo2c, because carmav has cockpit and damage gallery glitches. But even carmav has the correct map screen.
Or there is the wrong map screen only for this one map?

By the way, It looks like nGlide 1.02 + voodoo2c.exe are working correctly even w/o -vrush command switch (semi-transparent rectangle on the map screen is present).

nglide 1.02 fixed the glitch with damage gallery (it works correctly with all the executables).

about the map screen and cockpit it depends, some levels like the one of the image you linked all is working correctly, some others (I tested "mist me", "chiller" and "600ft under" and probably many others) show black or white rectangle.

only using voodo2c -vrush all is good

note: I noticed the graphic effect on the windshield is not working in some levels or situations. But I honestly don't know if it's a game bug or nglide bug...

Yes, this is the bug I discovered couple days after 1.02 release. It's already fixed in a dev version.

Hello Zeus,
I just updated the topic to say that I found a minor glitch for nglide 1.03

Part of "ONLY AVAILABLE IN NET GAMES" message during game is behind max damage face during race (wrong layer priority?)

This happens -only- if you run the game using 3dfx.exe (CRC32: 8dc65a2f) or carmav.exe (CRC32: 20ea91c5) with -vrush command line option. Voodo2c.exe (CRC32: 9b6c2695) is never affected.

All the previous 1.02 glitches are gone for good as you mentioned.

Fixed. Thank you.

For me only carmav.exe -vrush was affected. 3dfx.exe, like Voodo2c.exe worked fine.

Sorry, I meant "3dfx -vrush" and "carmav -vrush" gave that glitch.

NP. The glitch is now fixed so it's no longer present with 3dfx -vrush and carmav -vrush.
