I'm sure trying to see whats broken will not hurt. Also, nGlide is based on DirectX not OpenGL, and as far as I know, OpenGL is working fine for me (I'm currently playing Rage and Zack Zero).

Was an example of their fail, not often for them to break something directx, but it happens.

Something DirectX9, to be more precise.
DX7 and below support is broken long time ago...
Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 GB DDR400 (3-3-3-8),
Radeon HD3850 AGP (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
2 Voodoo2 12 MB (SLI), Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).
