Have found a method to run The Tainted config tool in WinXp. Something wrong with setupd3d.dll, but the config tool is working if this file is deleted/renamed.
The game needs EmulateHeap (freeze in the main menu), EmulateUSER (no reaction to Enter/Esc) and ForceCoInitialize (freeze in the intro) ACT fixes.

By the way - I have added my ACT database for glide games.

Dear Almighty Zeus,

I have been trying to get SWIV 3D to work under Windows 8, and see that in your forum a patch was posted that alters the file DLL32.DLL so that it does not call the file KERNEL32.DLL and allows SWIV 3D to work in Windows 95 compatibility mode. Can you send me that patch?

Thanks SO much!

Bob
