I have started testing of DOS glide games with my notebook, while I am waiting a Pentium4 motherboard replacement.
Ykhwong's build from 25 Jul 2013, output=ddraw, core=dynamic, cycles=max.

- same ctd (dosbox.exe offset 26fe56) before the simulation. There is a line in the DOSBox status window: "Glide: LFB memory map failed, using default LFB address!"
- there is a strange effect in menus - vanishing "three dots"
. This is better then with the nGlide 1.01
, but still suspicious.
Plus, maybe this is my imagination, but the simulation is lagging and jumping...
- versions 1.1.0 and 1.2.3 are fixed.
Versions 1.2.0, 1.2.1 and 1.2.2 have the old "black shadow" glitch and non-transparent briefings.
Non-transparent in-game messages (terminate mission, mission successful etc) in versions before 1.2.3 - looks like the game engine "feature".

- transparent rectangle around a moving cursor (picked item, targeting mode etc).
