Blurry graphics issue

First of all, thanks to the masterpiece of nGlide. Dreams come true for a retro gamer like me to run old games on new machines. My setup is simple: VMWare Player Plus 12.5.7+Windows 7 Pro+Creative ALchemy+nGlide 1.05 software packages. So far only blurry graphics issue encountered. However, it bothers me the most :(
My question is as follows:
I saw the game's UI get blurry after scaling. Are there any workarounds to fix it?

- VMWare SVGA 3D bug might be the cause.
- Move the cursor onto the UI elements solve the issue temporarily.
- SweetFX might be useful but needs a thoroughly test on all of the options within.
- Explore if a final-pass filter/loader available to mirror and upscale 640x480 to other resolutions.
- Pipe order should be an example of glide2x.dll(nGlide)->d3d9.dll(final-pass)->dsound.dll(ALchemy).

Thanks in advance.

Which game and what are your nGlide settings? A screenshot may be useful.

So far I've tried many combinations of ddraw.dll, d3da.dll (thrash driver), SweetFX.. and etc, but all in no success.
BTW, when game started, it didn't show up the credits. The rest performance is fine. Can we replace glide2x.dll with 3rd-party one, or install a virtual DirectX adapter within VMWare Player 12? Thanks in advance if anyone replies.

With an exception of NBA99 all EA Sports Glide games use 2D graphics in menu menu. The best thing you can do in such cases is to select an output resolution in nGlide configurator that is divisible by native game resolution.

The native res for WC98 is 640x480, try selecting 1280x960 instead of 1366x768 you use right now.

Thank you.
(For anyone interested, Creative Alchemy DirectSound driver no longer works on Win10)
