That should not happen, is your nGlide configuration default? Intel drivers up to date?

the config is default except for resolution set to desktop if i put it to app default readback passes any idea why the overlay works as non admin in the tests?

intel drivers are latest from windows 10.

Any update ?

For me all tests work fine with Steam overlay on Win10, no matter if I run Steam as Admin or not.

No idea what other things we could try. The issue has nothing to do with nGlide, so it can't be fixed on a wrapper's side. There must be something else we are missing.

I told you I don't think it's Intel, but can you check it on nVidia / AMD?

Someone posted a fix on the gta 2 steam forum where after installing nglide you have to use this gfx switcher to manually select nglide

http://www.gtatools.com/filedb/action.p ... file&id=32

and now the overlay works perfectly, any idea what does gfx switcher does ?

That's odd. Isn't this launcher doing the same job as my gta2.reg file? Please run the reg file and see if the overlay disappears and reappears after running launcher again.

yep running the .reg file the overlay disappears, if i run the launcher again the overlay works sigh, i am happy at least its working now, how do i get mig 29 on steam to have such a launcher hehe to get back the overlay.

btw have only intel gpu i believe this something to do with steam itself or windows 10 not sure how to lock it down, it was strange that those tests brought up the overlay when run as non admin vs not working when run as admin

I updated gta2.reg file on my site. Can you please download it from here and test it? I want to know if overlay remains after clicking on reg.

F-16 Multirole Fighter, MIG-29 Fulcrum and F22-Lightning 3 don't utilize Glide API in main menu. You need to enter flight mode to see if overlay works. Also make sure Voodoo is selected in video options.
