The breaking sound in Pyl is already fixed in latest DOSBox SVN.
I also finished the game (in dosbox + nglide) and fixed English translation.
So we are only waiting for new nGlide with fixed distance and lights :)
And damn fast cpu... ;)

Somebody else - please test Descent II 3dfx with the latest Ykhwong's build. It is my imagination or the game is really drawing only the nearest walls/floors?

Looks like the source is Dosbox itself, because the same is happening in the nGlide 0.97-0.99.

No transparency effects in Grand Theft Auto. IIRC, the arrow is the first transparent item in the game.

Works fine for me. Tested with nGlide 1.00 and Ykhwong's build from 2012-Dec-06.

Not in Glide mode. The arrow is transparent only with software renderer.

I have tested Nascar Racing 2 with...

...the ones reported to work with it:

- Ykhwong's Build 20120701
- nGlide 0.99

...and with:

- Newest Ykhwong's Build
- nGlide 1.0

Both times, the results were the same:

No textures.

I did everything as guided:

- Installed 3dfx patch for Nascar Racing 2.
- Installed Ykhwong's Build.
- Deleted the glide2x.dll from Ykhwong's Build's directory.
- Made a config file and set memsize=63 and fullscreen=true.
- Installed nGlide.
- Runned Nascar Racing 2 with correct BAT-file and checked that textures were enabled.

There are no errors with the Nascar Racing installation. Textures are shown in both software and emu -modes.

Did I missed something?

Thanks.

Hello,
i don't know why your textures are not shown correctly. :o
But does you have enabled in the graphic option all details?

I have tested it too,i'm using the latest Taewoong Dosbox version (5.feb 2013) and nglide 1.00.
It works for me without problems.

It'll be those auto detail turn on options; if the game isn't achieving the frame rate it'll turn off textures, etc. I forget exactly how to set them though (both maximum or both minimum?) to force them on all the time...

Just set all graphical options On, as in this post.
Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 GB DDR400 (3-3-3-8),
Radeon HD3850 AGP (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
2 Voodoo2 12 MB (SLI), Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).
