Re: Crime Cities (early Techland game, circa 2000)

Question : do you believe in most cases this game would need an emulator like nGlide to render correctly on modern machines, or would it actually be better off without the emulation wrapper? (I wasn't sure if what you were saying about "So in the case of Crime Cities and Glide, it's kinda ... ...

Re: Crime Cities (early Techland game, circa 2000)

Greetz from VOGONS! :D Yes, Crime Cities is a Glide game - sorta. It's more like a miniGL game. Crime Cities uses its own 3D engine that renders to OpenGL, but being as OpenGL on Windows for gaming was fairly new at the time, Techland considered that many videocards did not have full OpenGL ICD's an...

Re: NGlide versus my glide games collection

Check out these instructions for Hind. Maybe Zeus can make them easier with a homemade patch. http://digitality.comyr.com/flyboy/hind/ http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=36978&p=324895#p324895 http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/3437348/12.html http://simhq.com/forum/ubbthre...

Re: Streets of SimCity and SimCopter

Doesn't something like this exist already? I think I have seen it somewhere, or maybe it was 2x->3x? :? I don't remember, but perhaps Stiletto will know. There's definitely a Glide 2x-3x wrapper, you can find it here: http://wenchy.net/old/glidexp/ If it no longer is a wrapper, it was at least orig...

Re: Prost Grand Prix not working in 3d mode

Well, Zeus should still probably figure out why the unpatched does not work... but that sounds good.

I guess that hacker's patch will also fix vetz's problems with the game at VOGONS too!

Re: Prost Grand Prix not working in 3d mode

I saw there is a "Alain Prost Grand Prix 3D fix -author: Highlander-" with dead links in internet. Does any of you have that fix? Could any help me on getting the files or instructions that may fix my problem? (the PGP.exe may be?). Internet Archive to the rescue... http://web.archive.org...
