Re: Formula 1 - two bugs

It happens with your one too. But it seems to be a wider bug, as it affected the original game on my previous PC. I can have another look at some point soon, see if the D3D version does the same, or not (if it even works!).

Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulation 2 - CD check bug request

Hi Zeus, if you install MGPRS2 then apply the 1.06 Voodoo patch from http://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/2745/27992 (the bottom one of the two), then when you start the game it'll say "Can't run without CD-ROM" and won't work. This is apparently due to the game using an illegal TOC on the ...

Re: Formula 1 - two bugs

p.s. I have a different exe which has corrupt tyre tracks when the car wheelspins, but the opening video plays correctly! I also have a patch that claims to improve joystick compatibility, though not tried the game with a joystick. Basically all the various patches allow the game to work, but the na...

Formula 1 - two bugs

1. The Racing Line is broken and missing. Run Quick Race at Adelaide and there's no dark stripe in the corners where tyre tracks went, plus some tiles on the road are lighter and darker in a strange way running to the first corner. With dgVoodoo the racing line is present. Possibly related to the mi...

CART Precision Racing - couple of issues

1. When I use Glide mode it seems that the game renders at 640x480 then stretches it up and renders it at low resolution. Even though I have nGlide set to 2560x1440/4:3, it looks like 640x480 very pixelated. Rather strange. 2. The tyre/tire marks seem to flicker a lot near the car (when you skid), n...

Re: Andretti Racing - Windows XP / 7 / 8

One addition to this for people, the installer on my Andretti Racing CD (at least) is a 16bit executable, meaning it won't work on 64bit machines. To get round this, simply make a folder and copy the contents of the CD into it, then replace the executable with Zeus' one. The game does install some R...

Newman Haas Racing - couple of glitches

I can run Newman Haas Racing with no compatibility mode necessary. In fact applying Win95 compatibility often crashes the game more than not adding it! However the game will sometimes crash the second time you load a race, whether using D3D or Glide, it seems to crash ntdll.dll on mine, but I have o...

Pro Rally 2001 - couple of issues

1. If you select 1600x1200 in the graphics menu in-game, the game will crash when loading. Any other resolution works fine. 2. When you exit the game it locks up, requiring ctrl+alt+del to close it. Strangely enough, on my new PC I can install it with the installer on the CD-ROM; the Pentium4 instal...
