Re: nGlide and DOSBox

at the beginning with the spider when you open the door and stand with your back to the wall and look through the just opened door you will not see the guard walking at the end near the fire - I don't know how big locations are in this game, but that one is definitely not a bit one ;) The game has 1...

Re: nGlide and DOSBox

nGlide 0.99 changelog: Glide2: ... -fixed Pył enemies visiblity range Ok can you elaborate a bit on that? I can see further now, but it is still short. What is going on here? Is it somehow adjustable? If it is, why don't you just set it to max? Are you reducing it to improve performance? If so, why...

Re: windows 8 and nglide

nglide doesn't provide dos glide driver so of course no dos glide game can work with it, but for example dgvoodoo provides dos glide driver so tomb raider can work with it.

Re: windows 8 and nglide

As gulikoza already said 32-bit Windows versions have always had support for 16-bit applications. The only difference is that right now it is turned off as default. You may be sure nobody will install 32-bit windows as it is limited to using max 2 GB RAM, no 64-bit applications support, etc. The onl...

Re: Nglide with ATi legacy cards.

about Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - the Fallen
i have noticed that direct3d has not filtered nebula.
while opengl has it filtered and it looks ok in both 16-bit and 32-bit color
(btw if you change resolution in opengl you have to restart the game or nebula won't be filtered)

Re: Nglide with ATi legacy cards.

SET SSTV2_NUM_TMUS=1
affects voodoo2
but
SET SSTV2_NUM_TMUS=2
doesn't affect voodoo3 nor banshee

Re: Nglide with ATi legacy cards.

I also checked voodoo banshee and voodoo3 and it looks like they both look like voodoo1: - the nebula looks like not bifiltered - the logos movie at the beginning has some transparency problems. Also i looked closer at voodoo2 and nebula textures that are not messed up look like they have borders (i...

Re: Nglide with ATi legacy cards.

DS9TheFallen\system\Ds9.ini
[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
NoLighting=True
makes textures look ok on voodoo2 but it also helps nglide.
but the game doesn't look as it should this way.
