No, 3Dfx2 means Glide3, not Glide2, so it's possible.

BTW. Game crashes even in Glide2 mode at 640x480. This game worked fine in the past, but stopped working in XP Service Pack 2 or 3. More tests must be taken.

Unfortunately the mini map bug is not correlated with the wrapper or even renderer. It's in-game bug and cannot be solved. D3D version of Turok renders map in the same way. :cry:

Error 23: A critical error has occured while trying to initialize Glide.

OK. Tested. Error 23 means that your graphics card is not compatible with DirectX 9, so you won't be able to play any games with this GPU. All tests from SDK will also fail. :(

I don't know why. I have no stuttering both in Win XP and Win 7. I'm using SB X-Fi.

Try to set Windows 95 compatibility mode or try enable several options in Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit.

Also, try to lower Hardware Acceleration slider in Control Panel Sound properties.
