Re: Speed Busters crash

game crashes Yesss!, I finally found a reason why this game crashes on some machines. It isn't ServicePack fault. If your CPU frequency is above 2GHz you must lower it to max. 2GHz. You can do this in your BIOS. :D Another sympton is that the game on 3dfx2/3dfx seems to be running on 16-bit def col...

Re: Tomb Raider 1 with Dosbox

OK, I've made some tests. The pieces of the collapsed hang bridge are disapearing in the floor, while OpenGlide displays them correctly Fixed a bit, but still is not ideal (cannot be). Now it looks like in OpenGlide. It will be added in 0.94. nGlide renders some objects with straight brown edges aro...

Re: Widescreen Resolutions with Aspect Ratio Correction

please excuse if the following question sounds really stupid Your question was not stupid. Is there really no way? Unfortunately no. Since you are using point sampling for 2D-HUDs and such, I thought you already have a way of determining what's an overlay and what's not. Some games uses linear fram...

Re: Widescreen Resolutions with Aspect Ratio Correction

Thanks. Good solution, but it's only applicable if you're a game developer.
Glide wrapper cannot determine what's HUD and what's not, so pillarboxing is the only
solution. :(

Re: Extend configuration options

nGlide already has it's own configurator. The future might bring some new features. ;)
Of course they will not be exactly the same as zeckensack's or any other glide wrapper.

Re: Tomb Raider 1 with Dosbox

About Tomb Raider:
Thanks, I will check it out.

About Ignition:
Test this game with Fraps. If the game works 36fps while racing - it's okay. This game should work 36fps. if it's working faster on another wrapper, it's wrapper malfunction (one function is implemented incorrectly).

Re: Filtered 'Overlays' (HUDs etc.)

Point sampled filtering is the best possible choice. Bilinear filtering produces serious graphical glitches in many, many games that's why it won't be used.
