Just for curiosity I tried this again in 2015 with latest ykhwong build + nglide 1.03.
It just ignores nglide and runs tombraider using internal 3dfx emulation instead for some odd reason.

Well I guess I will use the other exe. ;)

nglide 1.02 fixed the glitch with damage gallery (it works correctly with all the executables). about the map screen and cockpit it depends, some levels like the one of the image you linked all is working correctly, some others (I tested "mist me", "chiller" and "600ft under...

Alternate 3dfx executable for Tombraider

I attached an alternative exe file for Tombraider (crc:0288f887)

Using this, nglide seems to not work, the game starts using dosbox recent new internal (but slow) 3dfx emulation.
With exe version 5a17b7f3 (not included) nglide is working correctly.

I remember that back in the day I've been able to correctly visualize 3d accelerated battles. Unluckily I don't remember the 3d card (but probably it was with my old voodoo1) nor the directx version. Oh and I had windows 95 :/ :( yep, 3d hardware can be used only if you start the game in windowed mo...

hi gamecollector, it's a good news that I'm not the only one with this game lol :D I hope you know the game uses 3d card only during battle rounds. Main menu, character selection and all the other things uses directdraw (and that work for me). I should have wrote that I have black fullscreen during ...

Yeah, I know this is a forum about glide wrapper but maybe Zeus or other direct3d experts can help with this. This is a really old win95/98 game with support for early 3d cards in direct3d mode...oh well...of all the cards I had in the past, only voodoo 1 in direct 3d worked correctly with this game...

using nvidia mobile 267.24 drivers did the trick. problem solved. hope this can be helpful for ppl.
