Re: Difference between OpenGL and MiniGL with nGlide
Depends on the game but most look pretty much the same. The reason why GOG puts nGlide in some of their releases is to increase compatibility with modern systems (two working renderers are better than one :)), but RTCW isn't one of them. It starts with nGlide because you have it installed in the sy...

Re: I saw that Mortal Kombat 4 on GOG uses nGlide
Thanks Tfishell. Believe me or not, but MK4 was one of those games that convinced me to buy 3dfx Voodoo in 1998. ;) It was also very important in the early days of nGlide's development, probably the first commercial title I used for testing. Difference between OpenGL and MiniGL with nGlide
Hi, I wanted to ask if there is any difference between OpenGL games and MiniGL games with nGlide.
I'm asking as Return to Castle Wolfenstein from GOG runs with nGlide instead of OpenGL.
This question applies to all MiniGL games or any other game that has standard OpenGL and nGlide support.

Re: AMD-ATI Drivers 13.8 Beta Graphics corruption on nGlide
I'm sure trying to see whats broken will not hurt. Also, nGlide is based on DirectX not OpenGL, and as far as I know, OpenGL is working fine for me (I'm currently playing Rage and Zack Zero).Squall Leonhart wrote:Take it up with the guys who like to break opengl every other release (amd)
