Re: Game too fast without V-sync, too slow with V-Sync

i did try to get it runnign through dxwnd also but it only would bring up a black screen and i didnt know which setting would fix this. what ihave now done, which has resolved the speed issue i think is that i have reinstalled the game as with its D3D option and i added the D3Dwine files to the game...

Re: Game too fast without V-sync, too slow with V-Sync

i can tell you also that the game allows for one to either install as D3D or install as 3dfx - the d3d option if you go with that actual installs the game and it runs at a normal playable speed, - controls are responsive and cars move at what is expected of F1s, however it has some weird graphical g...

Re: Game too fast without V-sync, too slow with V-Sync

Re: Formula 1 '97 graphical glitch with Nglide

here are some pics - the race number disappeared pretty quickly this time round and no matter what position i change to, or what settings changes i make it does not return - if on the other hand i play the D3D version of the game (it has exes for both glide and D3D) the race position numbers are alw...

Formula 1 '97 graphical glitch with Nglide

Firstly I want to say that Nglide is a godsend - for so many old games i have it works brilliantly, for Formula 1 '97 from Psygnonsis it also works very well, except for one small but frustrating glitch - with using Nglide, the in game on screen yellow box that says your car position, is blocked out...
