Just a quick note to say that I have tested nGlide 0.96 and the texture bugs in Unreal Tournament have indeed been fixed!
Thanks!

Re: Possible ideas
WhiteMagicRaven - hey I just did a Google search for your query, check this out...

The 'Overview' section of that file should give you an idea of what that particular extension does.

Re: Config file?
Hello and welcome to the forums! Glad to hear you're having a great time with the glide wrapper, from the fairly limited testing I've done it does seem really good. I can't answer your first question but I can the second one: I, too, wanted to use nGlide as a 'portable' wrapper and wanted people in ...

Re: Need for Speed Porsche
I guess to start with at least, just make sure that the Glide option is detected and selected in the '3D Device Setup' program that comes with all the earlier NFS games.

Re: Possibility to force use of Glide?
Yeah this is something I've noticed when testing just recently. A lot of the games that are indeed said to support Glide, you don't even get the option to use it in a lot of game video card options. I thought the whole point of the DLL files installing to the 'C:/Windows/system32' folder was to allo...

Re: Possible ideas
well... then just use dgVoodoo :P Yeah but the problem is, it's no longer updated or supported. If it ever was supported, technically! Therefore, whenever new graphics card come out, whenever new drivers are released, whenever DirectX gets updated - there are more and more instabilities and graphic...

Re: nGlide 0.95 tests
Unreal Tournament fixed? Nice! You beat me to it, but I was just going to add a couple more examples of graphical glitches. I'll post them anyhow! 1# How it should look all the time: http://digitality.comyr.com/nGlide/ut4-1.jpg 1# How it looks when you shift view: http://digitality.comyr.com/nGlide/...

Re: Several Problems
That's interesting cause Q3A hasn't got support for Glide and Q2 and Kingpin is supported by nGlide. Well I have the Q3 demo and you can in fact choose 'Voodoo' as the GL Driver in the graphics settings. Note that this option didn't appear until I installed nGlide. For me though, when I try and acc...

Re: Ultima IX crashes on higher resolutions
I don't know about Ultima, but I have seen game instability when forcing higher screen resolutions - especially if you are trying to force one higher than the game natively supports. Just for the sake of reference, I've had crashes in Jane's Longbow 2 when I forced a higher screen res of 1024x768 (g...
