Same thing with video backend = directx, Gamecollector.

3dfx splashscreen with 1.0.0.421 and quits right away.
With 1.0.0.508 and 1.0.0.439 - no splash screen and I have ctrl-alt-delete to kill Serious Sam. It shows as "not responding".

It's a no go with the two 3dfxvgl dll files that work for you and with the normal preset. With those I don't get the 3dfx splash screen anymore. With the 1.0.0.421 ICD there is only the splash screen using normal preset as well. Also tried with nGlide 2.00 and other 3dfxvgl dlls and disabled RadeonP...

Serious Sam First/Second Encounter do not start

Has anybody gotten the retail versions of Serious Sam First/Second Encounter to start using nGlide and the 3dfxvgl dll?

My games are patched to the latest versions, using nGlide 1.05 and the recommended 3dfxvgl dll in the bin folder. The games crash right after the 3dfx splash screen.

Outlaws - No anti-aliasing, anisotropic filtering ?

Is anti-aliasing/anisotropic working with nGlide on Outlaws? I am using RadeonPro to try to enable anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering to no avail. Tried nGlide 2.00 and 1.05.

Using an RX 480 with the 18.12.3 Optional drivers.

Driver crashing with nGlide 2.00

Hi, Driver PC crashing with nGlide version 2.00 but working correctly with 1.05. It crashes right at the start of the first FMV and I have a hard time ending the program through task manager. Not sure what US version of Driver I have as I installed it a long time ago, but I don't need the CD to play...

Ati Tray Tools. And I did disable ATT and could tell there was micro-stuttering when moving down the alley. I can disable ATT and then measure the frames with Fraps later on if you wish.

No difference at all and tried both the opengl ICD and default minigl plus disabling/enabling triple-buffering.

O.k. I now see where it says it does not use the gl_ext_compiled_vertex_array and gl_ext_point_parameters. I tested the opengl ICD 1.0.0.508 (which will use nGlide) and the fps are definitely higher (70+) but the fps are fluctuating up and down about 30 fps in that alley and just standing there look...
